‘Vertical Dreamers’ again presents you with a great opportunity to fulfil your wish – this time with some added challenge to enhance your experience. 🙂
We are going to organize an event in which the daunting uphill of the highest motorable road in the country i.e., Alikadam-Thanchi Road (Up to the famous Dim Pahar) is awaiting to embrace you. The terrain of the route will surely test your muscles while the mesmerizing beauty of the hills will soothe your soul. (Revised route due to National Security issues is Bandarban-Chimbuk Route).
VERTICAL DREAMERS is one of the leading mountaineering clubs in the country that has been working to promote mountaineering, trekking, climbing & adventure activities among the youths. We started our journey on 30th May 2014. Apart from organizing numerous mountaineering activities, we organized a unique climbing competition famously known as “Climbathon Bangladesh” for 3 consecutive years.
In 2019, we organized a 16KM Trail Run event (i.e., Vertical Dreamers Trail Run) on Marayantong Hill of Alikadam, Bandarban which turned out to be a huge success. In 2023, we organized the ‘Vertical Dreamers Hill Marathon’ on the Highest Motorable Road in Bangladesh, which was a grand one.
This time we want to take it one step further – Converting it into an ULTRA!

* 52KM distance is in honour of the martyrs of 1952. Our event is just 2 days after that memorable incident (21st February) which secured our mother tongue.

01. 52KM (Ultra): 11.00 hrs.
02. 25.00KM: 05:00 hrs.
* In our last edition we allowed extra time for the 25KM category, this time we WON’T.
|| Registration Fee:
01. 52KM (Ultra): TK.1835/-*
02. 25KM: TK.1530/-*
* including MFS Cash-Out Charge.
|| Eligibility Criteria:
For 52KM (Ultra):
* Must have Experience finishing a Marathon (Conducted on or after 01.01.2023) or 2 Minimum Half-Marathon (Conducted on or after 01.01.2023) or any category of VDHM23. You have to provide an online verifiable certificate link or run-data app record link (please make it public for verification).
* Must be 18 years & above i.e., who was born on or before 23.02.2006 (as per Valid ID).
For 25KM:
* Must be 15 years & above i.e., who was born on or before 23.02.2009 (as per Valid ID).
Note: The registration fee of non-eligible participants will be refunded after deducting MFS Charge. Authority can ask to show valid ID, if necessary.

Important Points:
01. Foreigners are not eligible to participate.
02. Chattogram Hill Tracts is a highly sensitive area. So, the organizers reserve the right to change the event date if any unavoidable security issue arises. The registration fee is non-refundable.
03. The medal will be awarded only to those participants who will finish the race within the cut-off time.
04. Participants are encouraged to avoid any kind of littering and any misconduct with locals & volunteers. We have a Zero Tolerance Policy in this regard. Please remember, like VDHM23, VDUltra24 will be a GREEN EVENT.
05. Vertical Dreamers is a non-profit organization & this event is not intended to make any kind of profit. We will donate any leftovers for the well-being of ethnic people or in interesting mountaineering ventures.
06. We intend to provide a good experience to the runners in such a remote location where the usual facilities of a road race are almost impossible to arrange.
07. Vertical Dreamers reserves the right to modify and extend any decision related to the event.
